Nail Technology Course Requirements

Certificate 11 - Nail Technology is made up of a total of 13 units. Of these 12 are compulsory and one is elective. Click here for the current compulsory and elective units.

This course is aligned with and has been mapped against the training package of QED (Queensland Education Department).

Students who obtain their Certificate II in Nail Technology course will be able to find employment in salons across Australia and will also have a knowledge of the skills needed to set up their own nail technology business.

Certificate 111 - Nail Technology - WRB330204 is also aligned with and mapped against the training package of QED. This course gives you the skills to work unsupervised or as a sole operator in the nail technology stream of the Beauty Industry. Additional Nail Technology Subjects

While students are only required to complete one of the elective subjects in order we encourage students to complete all the electives. These two additional subjects help students to better prepare themselves for the challenges they will face when dealing with clients who want something a little different.
